OLAP cubes and SP1

We started to have issues building OLAP cubes. One of the errors is:

"Component: MSP Resource Availability Refresh and OLAP Cube Creation
Component (ProjOLAP)
File: PROJOLAPProcess
Line: 3013
Description: <Description> <![CDATA[Error #: -2147221411 Desc. :]]>
</Description>"

In Professional, when you click on About, it shows: (11.1.2004.1707.15) SP1
but when I position the mouse over the word "Help" on PWA, it shows
(11.1.2004.1707.15) but it does NOT display "SP1". Does this mean that SP1
hasn't been installed on Project Server?

You help is very much appreciated!

Post the errors you're seeing in the server application event log related to
the cube build. These may prove more enlightening. What makes you think that
the Service pack is the issue?

Thanks a lot for your response Gary.
Well, after we found out that we had these errors, I thought I would verify
that we still had SP1 installed (one never knows!).. That's why I decided to
check on that.

I also verified the permissions on the ViewDrop folder on the Project Server
and that is fine.

We have found out that SP4 has been applied to the SQL Server that hosts
Analysis Services. The Project Server is running under SQL2000 SP3.
Could this be part of the problem?

Most definitely. When you apply a SQL service pack in a multi-server
environment where SQL is on a different box than Project Server, you must
apply the SP three times as follows:

To SQL Server
To Analysis Server
To any front end machine running Project Server so that the Decision Support
Objects are updated as well

We started to have issues building OLAP cubes. One of the errors is:

In Professional, when you click on About, it shows:
(11.1.2004.1707.15)
SP1
but when I position the mouse over the word "Help" on PWA, it shows
(11.1.2004.1707.15) but it does NOT display "SP1". Does this mean
that
SP1
hasn't been installed on Project Server?
