I have some very large CSV files that I want to analyze
by creating pivottables in Excel.
This works fine by using the .TXT ODBC driver and
creating the pivottable on an external data source.
However, the biggest files cannot be processed.
I am now wondering if it will help to convert the CSV
files to offline OLAP cubes.
Can this be done? How? Can it be done with just Office XP?
Will I be able to process bigger files, or can I only
gain better performance in the calculation of the
pivottables but not expand the capacity?
Any direct help or reference to articles is much
appreciated.
