OLAP values for Baseline Work differ from Project Baseline Work

We have a problem with our OLAP value for total Baseline Work being different
than the value in a project. In round numbers, the total Work = 5500 hours,
total Baseline Work = 5000, and current total Actual Work = 2500. However,
when loaded to OLAP, the value for cummulative Baseline Work = 4500. We
cannot determine what is the cause for the missing 500 hours in the OLAP
value. Any iideas what could cause this?

Has the OLAP cube been rebuilt since the last time all projects were updated
and any new projects were added to the Project Server database?

Yes, I updated the cube after importing the project.

After you imported the project, did you click Collaborate - Publish - All
Information, and then click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments?
The OLAP cube is built on published data only. Let us know.

Dale,
After I imported the schedule, I did the Publish - All Information, but not
the Republish Assignments. I since did Publish - All Information and the
Publish - Republish Assignments and rebuilt the OLAP. The value for the
Baseline is still not correct (remained same value as before). Perhaps this
is due in some way to the project being imported but I can't identify any
discrepancy. Thank you for taking the time to provide suggestions.

I am experiencing the same problem, but with cost values. The value of a
project in PWA shows 84k and when a I see it on Cube views it shows zero.

I research the problem, using project server database documentation, I did
this:
1. I selected values from MSP_CUBE_ASSN_FACT, column ASSN_COST and it had 0
for the project
2. After, I selected the value from MSP_VIEW_PROJ_ASSN_STD, column
AssignmentCost, and it was zero too. Documentation says
MSP_VIEW_PROJ_ASSN_STD is the origin for values of MSP_CUBE_ASSN_FACT.
3. I imagined that cube views will show only costs where the project has
assignments with costs rates.
4. My projects has costs not associated with resources assignments, will
type it on project professional.
5. Looking for examples to find out what is happening, I found a project
that doesn’t have resources and the cube view is showing the correct value.
However when I selected values from MSP_VIEW_PROJ_ASSN_STD it was zero too,
but when I did the same in MSP_CUBE_ASSN_FACT the values was there.

So I ask: Where or how the values go from project tables to project server
tables, and from it to views tables, and again, from it to cube tables? How
can I solve my problem?
