"Old Alert Manager"

I am getting this message in a dialogue box and it freezes the application.
I have to manually close the application through task manager and I loose all
unsaved work. Why am I getting htis message? Virus (no problems in other MS
apps). Corruption (I have re-installed using the Project repair function). ??
