Old e-mail not seen in History

How can I link e-mail messages received from a contact
before I set up the contact's record (before entering the
contact into OL BCM)?
I'm using OL 2003 w/Business Contact Manager.

Go to the Business Tools menu. Choose Link Email and Select Link Existing
Email.
