I recently installed a Project server system for a client and to
prevent emails being sent out while we were configuring and testing, I
deleted the SMTP server address. This worked great. However, we are
now ready to go live with the Project Server system and I'm concerned
about the amount of emails that users will receive.
We have added projects that have tasks that have already been completed
as well as projects that were in the past, so that the client can track
the data associated with those projects.
I'm concerned that when I enable the SMTP server, PWA is going to send
out a flood of emails to the users regarding past projects and/or
completed tasks. I'd really like to prevent this and have PWA only
notify users about tasks, issues, etc fomr this point on.
Any suggestions or ideas?
