old hard drive...recover old emails? to new hard drive?

the "controller" or something died on my old hard drive
the computer guy was able to give me a new hard drive and at the same time
leave my old hard drive on the computer...
i want to access my old emails and transfer them to the new hard drive
so that i can finally take the old one off.

on my computer at home..i can find a .dbx file (i think tahts what it is,
anyway) that has the emails in it
but here at the office...i cant find that..
im running windows xp and outlook express for my emails

any suggestions?

actually its not outlook express...its "outlook 2002"
if that makes a difference.
