Old Mail Repopulating Calendar

Greetings:

Occasionally I need to search old mail, so I bring mbox files back into
Entourage to scan and read.

Unfortunately, all of the obsolete weekly events associated with the old
mail suddenly repopulate my calendar, necessitating a tedious manual
survey-and-delete.

Is it possible to bring archived mbox files into Entourage without engaging
this effect on the calendar?

this effect on the calendar?

Why not create a second Identity in Entourage and call it "archive?" Drag in
your MBOX files and use "Switch Identity" when you need to search old mails.
