Old Version, New OS

We have Project for Windows 95 and was wondering if it
should work with Windows XP. I installed it fine and
started going through the tutorial with sample data. I
encounter a problem as soon as I started typing in a
task. (Clicking the box and typing) I then keep getting
the error message that windows has encountered a problem
and needs to close. I restarted the computer. Is the
program just too old to use with XP or could it be
something else?

It should work OK, I'd suspect a corrupted installation. Win XP does have a
"compatibility mode" that you might try if re-installing project doesn't
work.
