Old Version of Word

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

My daughter is taking a Spanish Course and recently submitted an assignment. It is in docx format via Word 2008 in which it was created. Her teacher, noting that most people can't download a file in docx format, instructed her to save the document in Word 97-2003 format and resubmit it. Can this be down and if so how ? When I installed Word 2008 it appears to have overridden and made the previous version of Word inaccesible. Any suggestions? Tom Conley

Hello Tom,

File menu => "Save as" will show the earlier file format option.
