Older emails being sent from Outlook.

I have a user who had just configured their Outlook client to download all
the email from their mailbox to a PST file. Since this has been done and
going through the process of moving the messages from the mailbox to the PST
file old emails from a few years ago are being sent out. The user claims
they were messages that were sent in the past but I haven't been able to
confirm this yet. I'm not sure what exactly is causing them to send out.

Any ideas?
