Hi,
I am sorry for the very basic information here but I am just trying to get a
handle on something before tomorrow. The company that I work from currently
downloads and Excel application that runs quite a lot of macros, and recently
we have been having problems from users either saying that they cannot run
some of the macro's which is down as a security issue, but can be fixed by
altering macro security levels. The other problem is when people are opening
the application they are saying that some data maybe lost and this has never
happened before, the main thing that occurs is that the origianl file has
been re-saved using the later version of office (2003) and some people are
using an older version of office which is causing the problems. I dont want
to have to go through the process of re-saving the files before sending them
out, is there a macro or an app that I can ship with the original file which
would allow any version of Office to open it without the loss of data?
Hope someone can help and sorry about the brief details!!
