OLE/ActiveX Control Communication Error

Well, I've read many different posts regarding this issue and none of them
resolved my issue.

I have two databases on my laptop, which is running Access 2003. I have a
form which has an on timer event to close itself after 2.5 seconds. The form
works in one db but not the other. Instead I get an error message that reads:

The expression On Timer you entered as the event property setting produced
the following error: A problem occured while Microsoft Office Access was
communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX Control.
* the expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a
user-defined function, or [Event Procedure].
* There may have been an error evaluating the function, event, or macro.

As I said, the form works fine in the other database (constructed earlier,
and on a different machine). I cross checked the references and they are all
the same. Also, no references appear to be missing. If this is a language
problem, I dont know how to check it or fix it.

If not, I suspect this question will go unanswered because their doesnt
appear to be a solution. But if anyone has a clue as to the problem I would
greatly appreciate some suggestions

Thanks
