OLE Autoupdate

I have an Access 97 database. The bound OLE objects have
the following data settings...

* Disply Type = Content
* Update Options = Automatic
* Type Allowed = Linked
* Enabled = Yes
* Locked = No

However, when I make changes to the graphic file that the
object is linked to, the changes never show up in the
database. Do you know why??
