OLE Error message in a form

K

Kevin Bruce

There is one form in a rather large database that occasionally, but not
always gives the user an error message when a new record is created: "A
problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE
server... &c." After the OK button on the error messagebox is clicked, one
can proceed to create records as though nothing has happened. It's more a
nuisance than anything else so far as I can tell, but it occurs only in this
one form and then only sporadically. The error message does not occur when
new records are created directly in the table.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
