OLE in forms

I am trying to place an OLE in my forms and thus in my
reports. If I insert a BMP as my OLE I can see the image
in my form however if I insert a JPG I can only see the
icon and the only way I can get to see the image is to
activate the object and then copy and paste back to my
form.

I know what I am trying to do works as I have seen it
work and the help tool on Access says it will work, but I
can't get it to work.

I have made sure all buttons that say 'display as icon'
are unticked and the properties are correct.

Can someone please help me?

Hi Janette,

It is probable that the file format JPG is not associated
with a graphics program capable of being called by Access
(I bet if you double-click a JPG file it opens in
Internet Explorer). You will need to associate JPG's
with a graphics program. The following article discusses
this problem with Access 97 but should be relevant for
most version.
