OLE Linking Error Inserting Graph

I am working on Access installed on a client of a LAN at a hospital, but am a
user of a corporate LAN.

All OLE works in Access except when I insert a graph the wizard gets to the
page where it looks up the fields in the data I have selected and says it
can't find the data and there is an OLE linking error.

I get the same errors on existing forms that have a graph inserted, I get an
error message that says the data (located in the same database) can't be
found.

I have tried to edit the path on the machine that did not work
I installed a later version of office and that did not work
I reregistered dlls and that did not work
I clean up the registry and that did not work
