When Access stores a jpeg file, it stores it uncompressed.
The jpeg format is a compressed file format, but Access
stores it uncompressed. That is where the bloating is
coming from. I would suggest you store a hyperlink and
open the picture from the hyperlink. The file will be
stored on your computer in the normal file system and will
not unnecessarily bloat your database.
