ole server fails after OFFICE SP3 install

I have confirmed twice that when I instal the Office SP3 update ACCESS 2003
will no longer allow me to insert any object into an ole object field.

I have tired the suggestions on other sites but all fail. ONLY a complete
uninstall then reinstall of Office 2003 will revive the ole insert. I can
use Office update 2 and there is no problem.

Ideas dear community? I cannot be the only one suffering.

I raised this with Microsoft as I've been having the same problem.
They told me that there is a problem with SP3 and until they release a
bug fix at a later, unspecified, date, then there is no option except
to roll back to SP2 via a complete reinstall. There is a Save My
Settings wizard in the Office Tools folder which allows you to save
all your Office settings and re-install them.
