In a nut shell - I have a table that has a field for 'extra information' that
information was made in a Word document. if you double click in the field it
will open the word document in a separate window. If I try to close it it
says:
A problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE
server.
Try one or more of the folowing:
*make sure you're connected to the network server where the OLE server
application is located.
*Close the OLE server and restart it outside of Microsoft Access. Then try
the original operation again from within Microsoft Access.
*Reinstall the OLE server to ensure that it's rgisterer.
My main problem is I have no idea what an OLE server is! We don't use a
server here.
Any suggestions?
