I have a database created in Access 2000 (SP-2). There is a table containing
an OLE object field. The field is meant to contain a small image (PNG), and
I really want the image embedded. I have a form with a bound object frame to
display the image. I use "right click" insert object and use the create from
file button, browse for the file, dbl-click it and everything is fine. The
field in the table contains "Micrografx Photomagic 6 Image". All was great
until I transferred the database to a computer running Access 2002 (SP-2).
When I open the form in 2002, all is OK and the images are displayed, but if
I try to add another record to the table and insert the image, all I get is
the name of the file, and the table field contains "Package" If I go back to
2000, the "package" is still in the table. I really want to display the
image in the form, is there a setting I need to change in 2002? I looked at
the other posts on this issue and did not find anything that helped.
Thanks for your help.
