omint.dll error on exit from outlook

Everytime I exit Outlook I get a non descript error message. On detailed
analysis the error relates to the omint.dll file with the following error
signature:

AppName: outlook.exe
AppVer: 9.0.0.6604
Modname: omint.dll
Modver: 5.5.3201.0
Offset: 0007033d

This error has been occuring ever since I downloaded Office Updates.

Cananyone help me with this - It is driving me insane! I have been trawling
the web and can't find anything in simple concise langage to explain what
causes it and a resolution.

I realize I could have posted more information.

Here is the error signature:

Name: outlook.exe
AppVer: 9.0.0.6604
ModName: omint.dll
ModVer: 5.5.3201.0
Offset:0007033d

I started getting this error message two weeks ago. I happens about 10
seconds after I close down Outlook.

Bad news I'm afraid - It was a bit terminal. I reinstalled Office and it did
not help at all. Like you I only got it after installing offivce updates. In
the end (and due toanother unrelated problem) I reinstalled Windows and that
sorted it, even with office Updates. I never got to the bottom of it after
hours of research and testing. In addition I posted ojn a large umber of
sites and never got any help with it.
