ON 07 B2TR - Toolbar travails

I didn't notice these issues in ON 07 B2 so I don't know if it has these
same issues but here goes:

When switching to full screen mode in B2TR I noticed I didn't have the
same toolbars as when in normal mode. A nice addition was that they had
stuck new page and next page buttons in the default toolbar for the full
screen mode. Oddly, they also put about twice as many buttons as would
fit on this one toolbar. In trying to modify my toolbars for full screen
mode I noticed that some of the toolbars that are available in normal
mode are not even available in the full screen mode. Also, some of the
toolbars can't be turned off in each of the views. Well, I wanted most of
my toolbars to be the same in both screen modes so I had to figure out a
work-around. It's pretty simple but a little tedious. Just create new
toolbars and copy the buttons you want to them. Those toolbars can be
displayed in both screen modes.

Toolbars that can only be used in standard mode:
Menu bar (can't be turned off)
Standard
Formatting
Writing Tools

The 'Full Page View' toolbar can only be viewed in full screen mode and
can't be turned off.

But... all toolbars can be modified. And that is exactly what I did. I
have mentioned this before but you can also stick buttons in the menu bar
and menus in the toolbars. So I just filled up the menu bar and three
rows of toolbars with all the buttons I thought I would use. Since two
rows weren't quite enough I stuck a bunch more in for just in case to
take up all the space available. I hate having empty space up there. It
seems like a waste.

Once I had my toolbars the way I wanted them I just created new toolbars
to duplicate the few that wouldn't display in the full screen mode. I
just ctrl-dragged each button from the original toolbar to the newly
created one. Thankfully, all the new ones would display in both modes. To
get around showing duplicates of these three toolbars I just turned off
the originals in the regular screen mode.

Since I wanted to make the 'Full Page View' toolbar look almost exactly
the same as my main menu bar I also created another new toolbar and
copied all the menus and buttons from the menu bar to it. I couldn't turn
off the 'Full Page View' toolbar so I just deleted almost all of its
buttons and copied the ones from my copy of the menu bar which I only
turned on long enough to make the copies.

I kept the first few buttons for new pages and switching to the next page
etc on the left end of the 'Full Page View' toolbar and didn't copy some
of the menus like 'Window' or 'Help.' There are a few buttons from the
'Standard' menu that won't display in full screen mode (like navigation
and printing buttons) but that is entirely tolerable.

If you have a Tablet PC you will probably want to do all your arranging
with the screen in portrait orientation so you won't make the toolbars
too wide to fit when you do switch orientation. If you don't have a
Tablet PC then you probably won't care about the full screen mode at all
anyway.

Now I have all my menus exactly the way I want them... and you can too.
