ON 2003 trial download overlap/conflict with ON 2007 trial downloa

I am wondering, if I download ON 2003 60-day trial now, when Dec. 1st rolls
around and the ON 2007 60-day trial is rumored to be available for download,
do you think I will be prevented from downloading a second 60 day trial
during or after my first, even tho the second download would be the new
version of ON?

Reason for this: I am getting a new laptop in a couple days as this one is
starting to fail. I am in school and need ON till mid-December for class
notes. I will need ON again mid January and onward for the new semester. I
cannot transfer my ON 2003 to the new laptop because it's on a Toshiba
install disk and I'm not getting a new Toshiba. I want to avoid buying
another copy of ON 2003 just a few short months before the new ON comes out
and I need to buy that. But, obviously, a mid-Nov download of ON 2003 trial
will only get me to mid January. It won't carry me in to the new semester.

Sorry this is so long. I wanted to be clear. Thanks for your opinions and
"predictions."

I don't think there will be any issues with going from an ON 2003 trial
to an ON 2007 trial.
Btw the Dec 1 date for a trial version is not rumored. MS announced it.

Thanks Patrick. I'm gonna give it a try and hope I can go right from one
download version to the next, for now. And I'm happy to hear the Dec. 1 date
is official.
