ON 2007 - Publishing as PDF or XPS

On my desktop where everything else seems to be OK (no install
problems) in the "File" menu the menu item "Publish as PDF or XMS" is
disabled (greyed).

I have no idea why.

Anybody any idea?

No ideas. Did you try the normal troubleshooting things like "Detect and
Repair"? Did you select to install all of the components when installing
ON?

Yes to both.
I'm just clueless.

Can you get to it via File, Save As and then changing the file type to
PDF or XPS?

Yes, "Save as ..." works (both formats).
Only the item in the menu is missing.

P.S. The PDF output is quite something. Seriously suffering. Very bad
quality. Some things below usability. But that's a different topic.

Really? Submit some sample pdf with the corresponding .one files on
Connect. I thought that most pdf output issues across all Office apps
had been fixed in B2.

Will do so next week. Guess I'll need a day for Connect :-( :-(

I wish it would be this way.
And I wish it would at least work as fine as does the "PDF Maker"
add-in for Office 2003 <g,d&rvvf>.

P.S. Back to the topic:
Any idea on what might be the reason for the disabled (greyed)
menu-item?

Nope, sorry. Can't think of anything but remove/reinstall to suggest...

I'll leave it as it is for the moment.
As everythig lse works I do not want to cause any other problems by
removing an re-installing.
