On-Line Registration

I don't know if other users are having the same problem I am, but when I go
on-line to register my new Office 2004, it says that I am supplying an
invalid product ID number. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT! I have tried this about a
half dozen times, both with Safari and IE, but it makes no difference. How
can I fix this?

Otherwise I love the new look and performance!

Many people seem to be having this problem. Sorry, the answer is don't
bother to register.

All registration lets you do is sign up for a newsletter, and you don't need
to bother anyhow. There's no activation on the Mac. Just make sure to keep
the CD Key in a safe place, or in several safe places.

I think the newsletter is useless, but if you really wanted it, I think you
can sign up via Mactopia.com.

Yeah, I just got it to work today (I just had to install a new computer).

It works fine in Safari. But you need a Passport: do you have one?

You also need to be able to cope with a very long URL, which you may have to
paste into TextEdit and fix before you can use it.

Cheers

John,

Thanks for the heads up! I, too, got it to work this p.m. Don't know what
the difference was.
