I have a form that was working fine, and started giving me the error "The
expression On OPen you entered as the event property setting produced the
following error: A problem occurred while microsoft Office Access was
communicating with the OLE server or ActiveX control."
The form's On Open event was created by Access when I right clicked on the On
Open properties box. Even if the on open routine is empty I get the error.
If I remove [Event Procedure] from the On Open property, it opens fine.
I was trying out some suggestions given to me from a previous post on another
issue. I backed out all the changes and this started happening. The form I
saved with the changes works fine. I don't get it.
