I was at a conference today and the presenter had a Mac and was using
Power Point for the presentation. At break times, he had a cool
onscreen (and on monitor projection) timer that would count-down the
time left for the break. It looked like a stopwatch. It could be set
for various time frames--five minutes, 2 minutes, 1 min. 45 sec, among
various other time frames. It also started ticking aloud as it neared
the end so that audience members had an auditory reminder that time was
almost up.
I thought that it looked like something he set up WITHIN PowerPoint,
but when I got home to try to find it on my own, I didn't see anything
like this.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is there anything like this within
PowerPoint or do you think that it was a separate program of some sort?
Anyway, just curious because it could be a very useful tool when
presenting to large groups.
