ON SUBTOTAL LINE CARRY FORWARD DENOMINATOR FROM PREVIOUS LINE

I have a spreadsheet that computes a unit cost per raw material divided by
total tons produces.

I am subtotaling at two breaks. Is there an easy way to carry the tons
produced, which is a static figure per each break, down to the subtotal and
grand total lines?

Type an = into the cell where you want the "tons produced" figure to appear,
then click on the cell containing the "tons produced" figure. This will
create a formula in the cell which will reproduce the required figure and
will update if the original figure is changed.
