ON Tasks and Outlook

D

damo

Hi,

So I create a Outlook task in ON 2007. Outlook syncs with my other
apps, say my Blackberry, my new task, created in ON 2007 is now on my
Blackberry. I can mark it complete on my Blackberry, next time I sync
its complete in my Outlook.

How do I get it to sync back to ON? Surely I dont have to go and mark
it complete manually????

Thanks in advance,

Damo
ps. its Outlook 2003 if that makes any difference

It does. Outlook 2007 syncs the completed task automatically back to ON

Sorry, one of my really dumb questions:
Is this done automatically or or has one to do something?

It should be automatic. If you create an Outlook in ON task it will
automatically appear in your OL Task list. Marking it complete in OL will
do the same in ON.

If I mark a task created in ON as complete in Outlook, it gets marked as
complete in OneNote within a short period of time of me doing this in
Outlook automatically (I think both programs have to be open though).
I don't remember whether this is instantaneous or whether it might take
a minute or so.

Thanks, Erik.
Sounds good.

Thanks for the explanations, Patrick.
So far I did hardly work with the combination.
Will test it some of these days. I'll install the finals of ON and
Office tonight and then have a look.
