Since I finally scored a tablet PC about a month ago, I've become a
pretty heavy user of OneNote. I will admit, I did give a couple of
other apps -- EndNote and GoBinder/PlanPlus a whirl on the tablet...but
I settled back on OneNote.

However, there are a few features I'd love to see in OneNote (influenced
partly by my temporary experimentation with the competition).

1. Like everyone else, I'd like to have tables.

2. It would be nice if ON could be customized to show subpage tabs
either with the page tabs, or as a separate set of tabs on a different
edge of the screen (e.g., page tabs on left, subpage tabs on bottom).
I've printed a couple of e-texts into OneNote; I'd prefer to have each
page printed to a separate subpage, but navigating among the subpages is
rather cumbersome in the current setup.

3. I've been finding myself occasionally having two windows of OneNote
going at the same time. It would be nice if ON could automagically tile
the windows.

4. Along similar lines: It would be nice to be able to manually toggle
whether a page is viewed as a ON window or as a Side Note window, rather
than making it window-size dependant. (You can potentially lose a lot
of screen real estate with two menubars, two sets of toolbars, two sets
of section tabs, etc.)

5. The ability to have a Daily Journal section (assume one page per
date; ability to navigate by scrolling though / pointing to dates on a
calendar) would be very handy.
