On word how do i change the text in an old document it wont let

I have got a letter already on my system, it is a letter head with our
company name. I want to change the company name and keep everything else the
same but cant manage to change the words. I have got a feeling something has
been saved to stop me changing it. I can change other words in the document
though which is strange. I just want to change the company name.

It might be in (or anchored to) the first-page header. Try double-clicking
it to see if that activates it.

And even in the header, it might be a graphic rather than editable text.
