ON7 Menu Font

The Menu font is somewhat fuzzy in contrast to other MS Office and
WinXP fonts.
Where can that be corrected?
Thank you.

did you compare it to?

Word 2007 does not have a traditional Menu, but whatever font it is
using, it is OK and not as light as ON menu items. Where can I change
it to Segoe UI?

P

Patrick Schmid [MVP]

It should be Segoe UI already. I don't know of any way to change it.

Are you talking more about Outlook 2007 using the new Ribbon UI vs. the
traditional menu system still used by OneNote 2007?

As Patrick said, there's no way to change the menu font. That's likely a
very deeply hidden setting somewhere, where mere mortals are not meant to
tread.

In my own programs, this is compiled directly into the actual
executable. So getting there as external person is basically impossible.
The only way to force this font to be changed is to delete the actual
font from the system. However, this is not an advisable approach and
also not something permanent. Office will restore the font pretty
regularly (e.g. every time an update is installed).
