A user is getting an error when running an Excel based program on a Windows
XP/Excel XP machine.
All goes smoothly until the setup code reaches the procedure to add
commandbar buttons to a custom commandbar. The first line of code adds the
caption without problem but the second line that adds the "OnAction"
property generates the following error:
The same code runs OK on other PCs (& Macs). I am not sure if there are
other users using the same platform & application combination (Windows XP &
Excel XP) but I suspect it is a problem with the user¹s Windows setup.
However, I would be grateful if anyone could suggest where the problem lies.
Many thanks,
Mike Barton
