In our office we have a server, Running windows server 2003. we have on it an
Access 2003 Application, splited to front end and back end. We use the Access
Application through Terminal (Mstsc); It's possible To run it directly, but
it is a bit slowly.
All of the users are able to use the application, accept one user, who gets
strange error - he can't open reports at all. if a VB code is running, he is
getting a usual error message as 'you canceled the previous operation'.
Directly from the Main window - there is no message at all. when this user
runs a temporarly code contaning the 'CreateReport' command - he gets the
error: 'Property doesn't exist'.
The error happens only for this user, and only when he is connecting from
his notebook, that is the only system running windows Vista. Nevertheless,
other logins to the server on the same computer doesn't err.
I don't manage the Server, but in the access level - there is no difference
between users, and they are all administrators, and no security is applied.
It's very strange for me. Usually I know where to search for answers, and
now I have no clue.
I'll be glad for answers, but also for other hints.
