One cell, two equations?

I'm trying to take info from two cells on a master sheet
and enter both into a single cell onto a sub sheet
seperated by a comma.

Example:
Master Sheet (seperate cells)
John Doe
George Smith
Patty Jones

Subsheet (single cell)
Doe, John
Smith, George
Jones, Patty

I can't put both into a single cell because in a later
sheet, I only need the last name.

If this can be done, I would be grateful! Thanks.

One way:

In your subsheet:

=B1 & ", " & A1

 

[keyt]

Use CONCATENATE

=concatenate(a1, ", " ,b1)

The middle bit is the comma-space.
