One copy of office 2 machines

Help please

I have a copy of Office 2007 standard on my works desktop in OEM format, I
have a laptop that does not have office 2007 it has 2003, can I install
office 2007 on my laptop as a joint license or is that not allowed.

No - OEM is limited to one machine. (AFAIK....read the EULA)

An OEM copy is tied to the PC its first installed on and cannot be moved to
another
Read the EULA in Office on your works PC

Standard appears to be a retail suite, while the OEM version of Office is
called in this version "Office Basic".

There is a list of suites in the left pane. Maybe you could click on Office
Standard and see if that is actually what you have.

Microsoft Works or "Works Desktop" on the other hand is a completely
different product.

It is impossible to tell from your post what you actually have. In Word,
click Office thing in the upper left corner, Word Options, Resources, About
and "View the Microsoft Software License Terms". That will tell you what
you are allowed to do with your installed version.
