One file location for two computers

P

Perk

I have Outlook 2000 located on our desktop and when I
access Outlook from my laptop over a wireless connection I
want the files to be placed on the desktop. Is there a
way to point to the desktop for file location???
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Perk,
do you want to synchronize your pst file or do you only want to use your
outlook on both computer without synchronizing?

I not sure about terminology, but the in the end I would
like to open Outlook from either computer and see the same
data. If there is a main system I would like it to be on
the desktop. Currently the Outlook.pst is located in
C:\Windows. I hoping that I could just reference
C:\Windows\Outlook.pst from the laptop across the
network. But I will use whatever will work!
Thanks

Hi Perk,
so you are in a Network.
Share the PST File. Be sure that both users and both computer have full
permisson to the pst file.
Open Outlook FILE | OPEN | DATA FILE
But only one Outlook can open the current pst file.
so be sure that only one computer open it.
