one instance of picture manager

Is there a way to have Office Picture Manager open one instance of itself and
add to that one instance versus having many instances of the program open for
each picture? So when I double click on a picture, Office Pix manager opens.
If I double click on another picture in my pictures folder, Office Pix
manager opens AGAIN. I want it to just add the newly clicked on picture to
the instance of the program that is already open. Is this possible?

Not that I am aware of, but you may change the default viewer to Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer in XP and achieve what you want.
