One Note causes HP Printer to delete

Hello,
We are using XP and installed Office 2007. We also installed
Publisher. Shortly after each time we would print the only option
available was to send it to One Note. The computer is now deleting the
HP software everytime we install it.
Any ideas what might be going on here?
