One Note clutters and crashes

Hi,
My disk is full of files like eg "Table of contents OneNote.onetoc2"
or similar. There is thousands of them (almost all dirs have one TOC)!
Opening it by text editor shows that this is not readable (like XML or
clear text). This is (in my mind) defense strategy of M$ (to hide
every possible detail of technology).
Does everybody know what are those files? I think my notes are
independent of them (transfering my notes file X.one to other comp
allows to use it). What is the role of these files? How to get rid of
it?

PS. I have OfficeMobile on smartphone. Unfortunately OneNoteMobile
uses only phone memory (I have 30MB free) and not uses free memory on
memory card (free 15GB). After creating of 15-20 notes OneNote
crashes: "free some memory and try again". These and other stupid M$
ideas are at least idiocy! Meabe there is any (users) way to force ONM
to use of memory card?
