Dr Hal

I have windows XP & One Note 2003.I am using a wireless network as my
database. I have alphabetized my folders, however when I log out of the
program, the new order will not save. I need to be able to alphabetize my
folders.
please help me!

Are you alphebetizing from within OneNote? How are you alphebetizing the
folders? Once you set the display order of the folders and sections
(whether manually alphebetizing them or manually specifying another order)
they *should* stay that way.

Some more detail about how you are alphebetizing would help in narrowing
your problem.

Erik,

Thanks for the reply. I am alphabetizing them within OneNote. I right
click and then move the folder to a different location within the parent
folder. They always stay in that order until I close OneNote. I don't know
why it's being so stubborn.
Is there a certain setting that has to be done with the software or on my
computer?
I have Fujitsu and Microsoft customer service trying to figure it out. It's
been about 2 weeks and I haven't received an answer yet. They call me back
and tell me that they're working on it.
I am using a Fujitsu Stylistic Tablet PC, and all my files are stored on a
wireless network. For some reason I believe that may be the problem.

I heard a rumor that there is a patch that is coming out that will either
automatically alphabetize folders, or at least allow one to save the order.
If anyone know anything else, please reply.
Thanks.
