One note in bottom right-hand corner

The first time I installed onenote it put a little icon in the bottom
right-hand corner where the power, volume and etc are. I had to reform my
hard drive and when I reinstalled Office that icon is no longer there.

I liked it because if I was on a page and wanted to copy a paragraph I could
click on that icon and it would give me a blank onenote box. I'd copy the
paragraph into it and close it and later I could find it in unfiled notes of
Onenote.

Does anyone know how to get that back?

Open OneNote, go to Tools | Options | Other and check the box.

When I did as you instructed I found that the box was already checked, but I
unchecked it and checked it again and the icon appeared. Thanks for the help.
