One Note Mobile

Is there a plugin add on or anything that will allow me to organize Onenote
Mobile (ONM) notes in some way, whether its assigning categories, using tabs
or just any old way. Having all of my notes in a single list on my PC mobile
device is really less than satisfactory. What I'd really like to to is sync
all my ON notes to my handheld preserving all notebooks and tabs, but failing
that, just one notebook with tabs or categories would really help.

Nope. ONM is what it is. Seems it was really designed with getting pictures
and recordings captured on a Smartphone into OneNote on the PC, rather than
being a way to mobilize your PC based OneNote file. It's pretty
disappointing IMHO.

Hello Sholomom,

OneNote Mobile is pretty basic as you have discovered. I got fed up with
dragging/dropping pages I wanted to sync to the device and wrote a powertoy
which may help. It's at

It gives you a button on the OneNote toolbar to copy whatever page you are
viewing automatically to the OneNote mobile notebook.

Thanks for the replies, I'll try the power toy. I'm also trying Phatnotes
which is much nicer on the mobile device, but not quite so nice on the PC.
Wish MS would make ONM as usable as the desktop version.

Wish MS would make Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, Pocket PowerPoint and Pocket
Internet Explorer as usable as the desktop versions. Unless your PPC has a
couple Gig of RAM and a lot of storage, I wouldn't hold my breath.
