One Note & Office 2003

Can One Note 2007 work if you have Office 2003? And does it actually attach
itself to or make changes in the Office installation, or is it a stand alone
program? I ask because at work we only have Office 2003. I am afraid of any
changes it might make to the current installation or do something that the
software police look upon as an "illegal" program.

Can One Note 2007 work if you have Office 2003?

Yes it works fine.

Some Outlook 2007 integration may not be available but there's no
detrimental effect on Office 2003.
