one note on tablet

I recently purchased a tablet pc with one note installed. I was going
through my add/remove programs and noticed that the size on one note is
listed as 4,099 meg, or 4 gig.

That sounds like an awful lot of disk space. Is that normal?

That shouldn't be. I just checked my home PC and it's 141MB with all of
the updates to date. My full install of Office is only 624MB.

Rod, something is wrong there. On my Toshiba M200, my original OneNote
install lists as 115 MB in Add or Remove Programs, not counting the 2003 SP1
addition listed separately.

Its probably just showing the wrong information.
The installed size that is shown in Add/Remove programs is at best a guess.

See here for a more detailed explanation.

If you check the size of your
"c:\program files\microsoft office\office11\" folder you will find it is
a lot smaller than that.

Thanks all.
Just to ease my mind I uninstalled and reinstalled and it is showing a
normal footprint of 149 meg. Also, the free space on the disk didn't change.
