Other wise it is not much different than Notepad window minimized or behind
other windows. It could have some type of time setting feature? Like a
count down and or due by notice.

Hi,

It's very different from Notepad ... once you click the maximise
button near the top right.

Dear Andrew, MVP Infopath

Yes OneNote can record sound bytes, and images and link to urls but as a
reminder tool of the information in the notes taken as a "note" it seems to
be missing the most important feature of letting the user be aware of it's
presence when it might be most needed. Try for example Swiztool Version 2 as
an example of a greater use of a note taker with reminder and timer
functionality!
It would be great if it had this type of functionality. Of course this is
aimed for use with mostly Windows Tablets and Laptops?

Sincerely,
Steven

Here is the link to read about and download
Swizztool software by Jonas Anderson
(Suprising both of you have the same first name!)
:)
It offers a Countdown alarm, alarm by a certain
Date and Time, Recurring alarm?, alarm by
a time of the same day, and by day.
It offers Show a Message, Play a Sound And Run a Task.
Also it offers a repeat alarm, not sure what that does.

Hi

Nice to see someone using the program :)

The repeat alarm will restart the alarm after it expire, so you can create
an alarm that goes off every day at 10 pm for example
