Though there are no official statements about this, I wouldn't really expect
it. There are so many things that already need to be done for the next
version of Office (universal binary, interface changes, new XML file format,
ect.), and the MacBU's resources are limited. Word's notebook layout view
tries to imitate some of OneNote's behaviour, so I'd expect to see a few
improvements in that area.
