One of the bars in my navigation bar seems to be broken-publisher

I use publishe 2000,
I added a page with a seperate bar in the navigation bar on my website. Then
I realised that i didn't need that I didn't need that page, so I tried to
delete it. The page did disappear, but not the corresponding bar. I did hit
undo, so that page is still there now. However, it doesn't seem like the bar
and page are connected. For example, when I change the name on the bar, the
title doesn't change with it. I really need to get rid of this bar, so I'd
appreciate any help I can get. The bar does not link to the page when I click
on it either. If it helps, this page was added with the bar in the advanced
menu to copy another page's appearence. I tried deleting both of these pages,
but that still doesn't take away the bar on the side. I've also tried to
delete the object, but that gets rid of my whole navigation bar, not the one
piece of the bar that i need to get rid of.

Thanks in advance,
Pratik

To quote an article by David Bartosik:

"Go to the page in your pub file that corresponds to the bad button, on that
page go to File, Web Properties, select the text in the "title" field and
delete it, and uncheck the "add hyperlink to web bar" box, and click OK.

Publisher will then repaginate the file and remove that button from each
copy of the bar across all pages. When it completes that operation then
re-open the web properties box and re-enter your title and re-check the box
and click OK, Publisher will again repaginate your file and will then add
the button for the page.

If you follow these repair steps on a corrupted menu and it still behaves
incorrectly, it is simply corrupted beyond repair. In which case you delete
the menu from each page and go thru each page and toggle off the "Add
hyperlink to web navigation bar", save the file, close it, reopen it, and
insert a fresh nav bar and rebuild it from scratch."
