.one .one .one .one repeating section

Hi

I am new to Onenote. Where has it been hiding all these years!

I have set up a few notebooks and section but every time I open up a series
of new section start appearing e.g., Marketing .one, Marketing .one.one,
Marketing .one.one.one, etc!

How do I stop these appearing?

Where are you storing your notebooks? Fileshare? Server? Local machine?
Are you using any technology to synchronize your notebooks between
several computers (such as foldershare, windows offline files, groove,
etc)? If you are, try disabling it to see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks for the feedback. Apologies for not gettting back earlier.

The files are just stored locally but I do have Onenote synchronised with
a Treo 750. Yes, the problem only happens when the PC and Treo are connected.
I can avoid the problem by not synchronising with the Treo but that sort of
defeats the purpose - I need to be able to work from both machines.

Any suggestions appreciated.
